I am not the best cook, but I can make a mean cocktail! I want to share a drink recipe that I love to make for people. I created this one night while working at the “Whistle Back”, and I know your people will love it too.
In a Japanese Mixing Tin you will combine:
- 2.5 oz – Whistle Pig – Piggy Back Rye Whiskey
- 1 oz – Cynar (Artichoke Liqueur)
- .5 oz – Amaro Nonino
- 2 Dashes of Black Walnut Bitters
- 1 Dash of Angostura Bitters
Stir all of these ingredients together for 20 seconds. Then double strain the ingredients into a chilled martini glass.
To garnish, you will need an orange peel that you will twist over the cocktail to express the oils from the rind. On a skewer place orange rind and Luxardo Cherries (the more the merrier).
